So I never pictured myself to be much of a blogger and yet here I am starting my own site. Well I guess I see a couple perks to this "blog" thing. First off it will be great to "record" any interesting comments my three year old daughter makes, and secondly it will be a good venting place. With that said I apologize in advance to anyone that I may offend in the upcoming days/months/ years that I may be blogging!!
I suppose my first post needs to be introductions and such. First off I am a 24 year old mother of two precious children. I have an absolutely amazing husband and a family that is a cross between the Faukers and the Waltons. I depend on my family more than my friends and honestly would rather spend time with them then friends. I lost most confidence in friends when I became pregnant with my daughter, however that's another blog completely!!
My three year old daughter is very strong willed and independent, much like myself, my mother and my grandmother. She will do it her way no matter how many times you try to teach her differently. She is the spitting image of both her father and I. Her father is NOT my husband so lets address that right now quickly...we were together, we broke up, we found out we were pregnant, we are best friends. Next to my sister and my husband Rob is the next person in line that I trust and can depend on. I love him like a brother and to some that may seem odd, but unlike most "adults" we were able to set aside our differences to put the needs of our daughter first. Watch for a later post "Ignorant Parenting"...it is in the works and this topic will be touched on.
I met my husband through my cousins, long story short it was love at first sight...at least for me. I pursued him and three months into our relationship he promised my father he was going to marry me. Two days before our year anniversary we were married. Two months after our marriage we were blessed to find out that we were pregnant with our son. Gage was born June 1st 2009 and is ALL BOY.
Gage is now 9 months and is the human vacuum, anything goes in his mouth! He is also a little dare devil. Started crawling at 5 mos, pulling to stand at 7 and now cruising furniture. He is one of my many reasons for smiling each and every day.
As for my mother, my father, my sister and my grandparents (both alive and deceased) the only words that I can sum them up in is amazing. Blessed from head to toe I am. At a tarot reading once my psychic told me that the Gods favored me. This comes to no surprise to me...look at my life, look at my family. I couldn't have hand picked them better myself!!!
